Covid-19 and its Impact on Cyber
Among its many impacts, Covid-19 created a new work from home dynamic for as much as 64% of the American workforce. Prior to emergence of the virus, that number was closer to 7%. Seizing upon the opportunity, criminals were quick to identify weak spots and have developed many new methods to attack our critical technology infrastructure.
October is National Cyber Security Awareness month. In recognition, Brian Thompson and I conducted a webinar on the latest threats and steps that non-profit organizations should take to reduce exposure and mitigate loss. A copy of that presentation is available on the website. I encourage you to review the information and make a quick assessment regarding your own level of preparedness.
For some, this is the first of many steps to overhaul their operations. For others, it’s a continuation of efforts in this ever-changing electronic landscape. No matter where you are in the process, Resource Partners and our insurance carrier associates want to help. Reach out to Brian to learn more about how you may be able to mitigate your exposure today.
This was the first in a series of webinars planned for the coming months with a renewed focus on education and making sure we bring extra value to our relationship with you. Be sure to check this space for future offerings.
Sincerely,
Eric Himes
